Looking for: Window frames / insect protection nets

Postby CrookedRiverGuy » Thu Jun 06, 2013 10:27 pm

I want to install some mosquito nets on a couple of sliding doors/windows (alu frames)

Anyone with experience who could recommend a company for that task - or give me an idea of a budget price (ie. for a double sliding door 2 x 2,2 meter)?

I was quoted €65 for a mosquito net of about that size as part of a quote for changing my windows. There are cheaper ones (plastic) that you can install yourself ... I guess they should sell them in DIY stores.

Thanks, Sotos! I should probably have mentioned that I want a solution where I can partially open and close them (as far as the doors is concerned) without too much hassle. 65 is very affordable, but might not have the functionality I'm hoping for?

Btw; do you have any reference to such a DIY-store (I do not know Cyprus, or these kind of shops too well)?

I don't know where you are located CRG, but I'm in Oroklini and have just has two flyscreens made and fitted by a guy from Pyla. The service I received was excellent, and the cost very reasonable.
If you're interested in ringing him, his name is Corin and he's on 99274108.

I will give Corin a call as soon as I get to Cyprus - and check out the DIY-stores as well!

Thanks a lot, all of you!
