Doesn't Turkey also have to recognize the Roc in this deal?

Let's be clear about what Kasoulides has proposed in recent statements. The return of Famagusta to its rightful inhabitants in exchange for the opening of Famagusta port to the TCs under EU supervision, the opening of Turkey's EU accession chapters and the implementation of the Ankara protocol. Direct flights has never been mentioned in any public statement by Kasoulides.

we are proposing a fair deal for everybody to take place in parallel. We are open of lifting our own veto on certain chapters of the accession negotiations of Turkey with the EU, a win situation for Turkey, permit direct trade of the Turkish Cypriot community through the point of Famagusta under the supervision of the EU, a win situation for the TC, and we want Turkey relinquishes the town of Famagusta an empty town, to its rightful inhabitants, which is a win situation for Cyprus”.

Such a big step will tremendously change the whole climate and will become the game changer if we want during the negotiations to resolve the problem of Cyprus. “If we can diminish this gap of trust which exists it will be a tremendous development' he stressed.

In the past when Kemalit were ruling Turkey and a significant step was taken on Cyprus either a coup or a toppling of government happened in Turkey, Erdogan makes a move on Cyprus by giving up Varosi and now the upheaval by the Kemalist...related??

Erdogan hasn't made any moves on Cyprus. The protesters seem to be more concerned by issues like authoritarianism, corruption and the Kurdish problem than any proposed moves on Cyprus.

I doubt it, and this is an unconfirmed report.

Turkey + settlers + whoever else must be repatriated to Turkey. They can play with political equality in their own home. Always say no to Turkish occupation, dictatorship and riots in Cyprus.
