At a guess I would say that the aggressive tone of the bash patriots on CF helped Tim decide to stop his very informative posts. Stpier’s intervention was a trap (unintentional perhaps) and the forum fools fell right into it, well done chaps, keep telling the other side how much you hate them – that’ll solve the Cyprus Problem.

Jerry, with all due respect, If Tims wants to throw his dummy out of the pram, that's his problem. As for the Turks, yes we do hate them for as long as they illegally occupy Cyprus. Goes without saying. Just look at the posts your mate Stupider was making on how much they hate any GC, we are the enemy he says, we are hated he says, Turkey hates us he says. What the F do you expect, for us to throw down rose petals for them???

Tim is a grown up intelligent man, if he can't handle someone like like Stupider who came here to silence him, then he is a mouse. Surprising really, given he once gave out his home address for members of ELAM to visit him so he can beat them the F up!

No mate, you are an astute fellow, but you have got it wrong. I am really just looking for some kind of confirmation that the news I am posting is going to a wider audience, which the Google rankings this thread has suggests that it is. No offence to anybody, but I cannot be bothered to put in so much time if the only audience is the 12 or so people who are left as regulars on this forum. I somehow do believe that stpier is somebody who has participated in these protests, and if he tells me that my contributions are not wanted, then I am prepared to listen until such time as I get a different message from somebody else who is involved, or from people out there in the wider world to say that they are listening and value these efforts. So far I have received no such message, so there you have it.

Well that's cleared that up then, apologies if I misread you. I do hope you will continue to contribute to CF.

There is a good chance of it. I think there is also a good chance of getting the kind of message I am looking for sooner or later.

You have every reason to hate what Turkey has done to Cyprus, I do too. But to appear to hate all Turks you do us no favours. A fair solution to the Cyprus Problem will mean that we will have to share the island with Turkish Cypriots, hate posts only reinforce their demands for partition. Do you hate Deniz and Kikapau?

Yes, always best to think smart, rather than go straight to the hate button.

Once again respect to TD for his efforts over the past few months.

Anyways,... A week ago, Amnesty released a video to go with their justifiable criticisms of the Erdogan Regime...

Very strongly and let's face it correctly entitled...

"When Turkey Took Torture to the Streets"

Amnesty describe the events of the Summer in this way...

"...Turkish authorities committed human rights violations on a massive scale in the government's attempts to crush the Gezi Park protests this summer. The use of live ammunition, tear gas, water cannon, plastic bullets and beatings of protestors left more than 8,000 people injured at the scene of demonstrations, and the deaths of at least three protestors have been linked to the abusive use of force by police..."

Congratulations stpier! You have terminated a thread that was showing the ordinary Turkish public in a good light.

- Victims, eco-warriors, concerned citizens. Ordinary people, such as one would not expect to find in a warmongering country like Turkey.

Silence is golden ...
