Istanbul- A worker named Ercan Altın has been hit in the forehead by a gas capsule. He has suffered a fractured forehead and has been taken to Okmeydanı Training and Research Hospital, where he will undergo an operation.
According to information supplied by Istanbul Bar Association official Fatma Hoşgör, eye witnesses say that Altın was targeted from close range.

The police have dispersed the crowd at Kızılay Square, Ankara. Clashes continue in side streets. Intense amounts of tear gas have been used.

The police begin to make arrests in Ankara Kızılay and Taksim’s İstiklal Street, resorting to firing tear gas into cafeterias in which protestors have taken refuge in the effort to arrest them.
