A protest that began at 1830 in the Didim sub-province of Aydın was continuing as of 1930.

Yet more protesters are being hit in the head by gas capsules. Will somebody tell these goons that this technology is only “non-lethal” if not aimed directly at people from close range!

Police confront a group in Tarlabaşı, close to Taksim. The protestors respond with fireworks. The protestors are erecting a barricade in the direction of Karaköy.

Radikal's correspondent notes that both sides are using slightly different tactics compared to earlier confrontations in Taksim. The police are not using water cannons but intense amounts of tear gas. The protestors are concentrating in side streets and using fireworks.

In Eskişehir, a group of about 1000 demonstrators is staging a sit in on a railway level crossing. A freight train has now been halted.
