Twenty members of parliament from the main opposition CHP party spent last night in Gezi Park.

Are they still alive??

Yes, although a tear gas canister landed in the tent in which they were sleeping and they had to take refuge in a nearby hotel for a while.

Sleeping? Did they camp there to have a nap?

Thousands of lawyers protested against these arrests at the same location today, and there were demonstrations by lawyers in other cities as well.

An older-than-average protestor photographed in action against the riot police in the Taksim area yesterday. The close up shows her blood group marked on her arm, a precaution that the protestors are taking in case they need medical attention.

According to the protestor's own Çapul TV, Erdoğan has just announced that he has instructed the Ministry of the Interior to end the protests within 24 hours. I have been unable to confirm that from any other sources yet, but if this is true, the big battle is coming.

That has been confirmed by the mainstream media. There is a big battle coming tonight.

Unless they plan to kill all these protesters withing the next 24 hours, Erdogan is dreaming in ending anything in the next 24 hours.
