Do not underestimate how much Greece supports Cyprus. Help comes in many forms and not simply making an all-out war [like some round here dream of since they personally are not likely to be recruited to fight].

If it came to that sweetey, I promise you I will be there and I won't need that much training.

Just make sure you are in Cyprus because I will need a "mother" figure to bring me some Greek Dolmades like the rest of the CNG conscripts! :P

Just paint the casserole Green so it doesn't sparkle in the hot Cypriot sunshine...

Did I ever tell you sweetey that I know quite a number of Greek Officers and regular military personnel!

They are a bunch of great guys and I never doubt their dedication for a second, both to Greece and even Cyprus.

When I go to Greece I find myself in their good company often. I know more Greek service personnel than Cypriot although we do have a very high ranking family member in the CNG.

They are mostly disillusioned unfortunately, because I have never met a single Greek Officer that believes Turkey has the Balance of Power or that they can't be defeated should it get to that.

Maybe you think they are all insane, but they are specialists in their fields, highly trained and drilled.

Maybe you think that it is fortunate that Greece is Governed by the politicians of the last 38 years because these "militant" individuals are "war mongers" and will kill lots of people.

I can assure you they love Greece very much and Cyprus too and they do take it personally that Cyprus still endures an occupation. If it was up to them, do you believe Greece will not help Cyprus? Personally, I can't see it.

Unfortunately for them, Greece does not have the political will and they see it plain as day!

They are still upset over the Imia incident. How can they not be since they were itching to settle some scores and believed that their day had come? Cyprus featured in their every sentence. What were they thinking right?

Maybe you thank your lucky stars that Simitis was in charge! After all, if it were one of my "war monger" friends who knows what would have happened.

All of them dear Oracle, are family people, married with kids and the full package, and are as caring for Greece and Cyprus than you, probably more since they were willing to go to hell and back and hopefully return to their girl friends and wives/kids!

I honour and respect these individuals very much. Greek politicians are a different and traitorous species all together unfortunately, and they damage those honorable individuals, Greece and Cyprus because of the way they conducted themselves for the past 50 years.

But to you, they are the "Military Establishment", that bought Greece to its knees. All those weapons programs cost Billions over the last 3 decades. Yes yes, you are right. It is their fault!

But what is the point of all those weapons programs and shiny toys on land, sea and air if accompanied by the lack of political will? This is where Turkey has us on the ropes and on the back foot! You don't believe this? You are an intelligent lady!

I would love this "Military Establishment" to be in charge.

Do you love the "Greek Military Establishment" Oracle? Or do you love Samaras more? When you answer that, do not confuse them with any fascist Junta, because those days are long gone thankfully!
