This folks is the END, for now...
Too many coincidences ol' boy.
And your point , boy ?
Forget it. You may end up using the p-word.
Mate, in days gone by, when I first joined CY F in early 2006, I was undergoing an immense amount of pressures due to my late wife's illness, I snapped easily, had an extremely low, if any, tolerance levels towards those that I considered then to be right old plonkers.
I entered into many heated debates, or rather ...fights with many such plonkers, which culminated in MY resignation and subsequent life ban following my comments made on resigning from the forum, now of course the ban has been lifted. No preconditions were requested by Admin, and I do appreciate this a great deal.I spent more than two years "fighting" my corner on the NCFP, where I was faced with so much animosity and also hatred by the cheap low down Cheapskates. One of my achievements on this on-line NP, was to dispel the myth that Turkey "intervened" to bring to an end an on-going massacre, a myth regurgitated by every peasant who had two bob to invest in stolen properties in the occupied parts. They made fun of me, the y called me a parrot because of my incessant repetition of facts. I do have respect for Malcolm. the editor, for allowing me for more than two years to challenge the acrimonious nonsense spouted out by the peasants.Malcolm allowed to continue posting without ever imposing a ban on me.I eventually had enough and RESIGNED.Since then, the number of post have come tumbling down as a result of my departure and that of Jerry's. I have had a belly full of arguments, political debates and personal vendettas,I intend to stay clear of futile argumentative debates and will instead concentrate on life's real stories such as my current episode in Cyprus.I may also, for the benefit of GR, tell everyone of my first arrival in Victoria station way back in 1961, when as a 15 year old on my own arrived in what was then England.
Over the years I met many from the CYF and made friends with all of them, one such, Denis who stood by me during and after the darkest hours and days of my life,my gratitude goes out to this great Cypriot.
My involvement in charitable events helped many with all the help I received from members of this forum, Oracle, Yialousa, Paphitis, Slausinger ( still cant spell his nick) Denis,Kikapu, Jerry, Bill , DT and Umit, and many more who gave generously for Cancer Tulip and Ayios Stephanos. Money that went towards the less fortunate than us.
In my business, funds were also raised and donated to Cancer Tulip.
At 67 years old and approaching the twilight of my life I aim to relax mentally, enjoy family life, explore Cyprus inch by inch, love ...women, especially blonds, cook ameletita on the charcoal, eat loads of snails, drink my favourite wines, and see my grandchildren grow up and get married, by that time I should be well in my 80s, hopefully still fit, fond of wines and ....good looking !!!!
Have a great day my Plonker friend!!
