Its such a fantastic clip of a young blond lady reminding us all that the West has so... much to offer. Her South was also rather revealing!

Thank you Oceanside.
On rejoining CY F, I made a conscious decision that I shall avoid as much as possible heated political debates.
I first joined the forum way back in 2006, banned once on twice, but I did finally had enough and Resigned after an open and rather insulting letter to Admin which led to my being permanently banned, for life.I spent just over 2 years on the NCFP joining in all debates concerning Cyprus, the low down cheap and unsophisticated, nose picking ass scratching so called ex-pats, in reality they are nothing more than peasants, cheapskates, Malcolm, I like him, excluded. The level of pure hatred directed against the G/Cs astounded me, having had an English wife for almost 46 years, and having known her family, I never imagined that there are English people that have so much antipathy towards G/Cs, eventually I had enough and left.
As I'm currently compiling a booklet of family history for the benefit of the numerous " mongrels", Joke, , who have expressed a keen interest to learn about their other roots, ie Cypriot ones, I begun a research into our family tree taking in events that shaped our lives, the earthquake being one such event.
I wish to continue currently with just this one thread, a few stories about early Cypriot immigrants into the UK, their aspirations, their hopes and dreams, their devotion to their families, their continued adherence to traditional events such as weddings, christenings and other such cultural events, their stories on Cyprus, their experiences on visiting Cyprus periodically, their humor and their reluctance to accept that Cyprus and the Cypriots have moved on since the 50s and 60s.
One often hears that Cyprus and Cypriots are not what they used to be, of course they are not, nothing stays still, one has to accept the changes and adapt. One such Cypriot is my older, 74 year old brother, who can not put a sentence together without the usage of Greek and English mixed up, a proper ...Charlie!! But what a terrific character, they don't make them like him anymore.

I would like, subject to interest by forumers, relate my earlier experiences as a 15 year old in the UK, GR is anxious and eagerly awaiting my arrival story at Victoria station, I know he is
Did I ever mention that in 1963 I was the ...Twist Champion for South London, eventually appearing on the Come Dancing program !!

The first time I met my Jarrow born late father-in-law, an ex British Sergeant Major, and during WW2 a prisoner of the Japanese. Well the old boy did not take kindly to his daughter taking home a Cypriot ....terrorist !
Seventeen I was at the time and so was his daughter and my eventual wife. RIP.
Will continue....
