Discrimination/ segregation, injustice and none acceptance is the source of unrest and violence.

Those are just the results of multiculturalism. They wouldn't exist without it.

multiculturalism through the importation of cheap labor into a society creates wealth for the society.

It creates wealth for the capitalist sharks, not for the average local.

Any salary reductions, if there are any, come at lower paying jobs, which no native is willing to do ie..agriculture, construction, toilet cleaning etc..., which in essence brings the price of all goods and services down, which brings the standard of living up, instead of down as you say....

The following is a rhetorical question... Why "lower paying jobs" exist and who is benefitting from them?

The capitalist sharks will always profit..case in point our dear capitalist Shakolas...he's given money to every president of Cyprus whether the economy was up or down..

Lower paying jobs benefit you since you're not willing to pick lemons ..they pick them and sell them to you at a lower cost...and then you go out with what you saved and buy Cypriot shoes..which creates work for a Cypriot in a higher paying skilled job..if there wasn't a need for immigrant workers they wouldn't be there..

How will I buy the lemons, if I am unemployed? 'Cypriot' shoes made by another foreigner?

Higher paying skilled jobs are limited and there will never be enough jobs for all Cypriots.

There is no need for foreign workers, when the unemployment rates are sky-rocketing (and they currently are).

Kurupetos you crack me up amigo... If you're unemployed go pick lemons with the immigrants..simple..there was a need for migrants when the economy was booming ..I can't remember anyone complaining back then ...

Was it you or someone else that was talking about their million euro villa...a few years ago??

and by and large it is Cypriots who are employing the lower paid immigrant workers...indeed perhaps some of the unemployed Cypriots should take up the housekeeping jobs done by (mostly) people of Asian origin, or in agriculture or the jobs in hotels, and tourism, or as cabaret artistes on the same wages, terms and conditions.....

I don't see that this is any more ridiculous than your arguments about whether Greece is an invented identity or whether Cyprus is an invented identity.

GR, I'm sorry if my mental health exasperates you, and I want to engage on other issues besides "Black" and "White". You could argue that it is not our issue, we are not "Black" we are not "White" so why get involved? But the problem is that both "Blacks" and "Whites" fight over us.
