can anyone clarify wether a property can be bought in joint names in the R O C and can two names be registered on the title deeds

My wife and I both appear on our title deeds so I suspect that any number of names can appear on them as co-owners of a plot o property.

There is no limit to the number of names that can appear on a Title Deed; in my experience any number beyond 'two' spells disaster!

The number of disagreements as to what to do with it, increases expotencially with the number of 'owners' of land or property. In the end nothing gets agreed on :-(

thanks for the replies, nothings happened its just that i am thinking about buying an apartment and had read that property purchase could not be made in joint names except for husband and wife
