I do not, at least not as Turkey now is, and I doubt it will be a fit candidate for that unfit institution any time soon.

As for the rest I suspect few otherwise think about it, and if many did it will only be until a thought about something more important to them, like the price of fish, or the behaviours of some non-entity from a TV reality show, pushes thoughts about Turkey in the EU out of their minds.

The Brit government (which may not necessarily reflect the views of the average Brit) might want them in, but probably only to try to appease the yanks

Its funny, how the British government is vocal about wanting Turkey in the EU, while they are thinking about getting out themselves!
