It was done right on the eve of Erdogan's meeting with US President and it is a very clear message to Turkey!

I am surprised there are so few references to 19th May as the day of commemoration of the Pontian Genocide committed by the Ottoman Authorities. Let us remember those victims of Turkish atrocities.
Yes well I have my opinion about this STUD!
Greece has been hopeless at holding Turkey to account! Their policy seems to be one of appeasement instead of holding Turkey to account for her crimes not just against Greece with respect to Smyrna, and the Pontian massacres etc, but also with respect to Cyprus!
Greece is spineless and is more interested in prostituting itself than to act with dignity!
I am all for a genuine peace process and policy which brings about stability in the region, but in order for this to happen, Turkey must pay for its crimes and also withdraw from Cyprus. Turkey also needs to acknowledge crimes against humanity (Armenian, Assyrian, Pontian) or it can't be acknowledged.
They are not a nation worthy of EU entry until all of the above are met as well as some internal issues with regards to freedom of the press, democracy and Human Rights for the Kurds!
