The EU is asking Turkey for a stricter oversight of the her military.

and (According to the draft EU report obtained by Zaman)

The EU makes it clear in the document that "Greek Cyprus" (Cyprus is Greek) is considered to have the right as a sovereign state, as per international law, to exploit natural resources in the Mediterranean. Something which Turkey and the " TRNC" call into question.

Err, what are these success stories of Erdogan's visit to the USA, which came about ONLY after accepting an non apology apology from Israel, which was not even documented by video or sound. We only have Erdogan's word for it, stating that Obama was in the room and had witnessed the non apology apology.

After two years of defiant Erdogan against Israel on the Mavi Marmara killings but no invitation to Washington by the USA, Erdogan walked away from his "convictions" and accepted the non apology apology just to get an invite to the USA.

Now what Mr Erdogan, because your 15 minutes of fame is almost up in the USA and that you will soon be back in Ankara to deal with your "no problem" policies with your neighbours.

Oh by the way Mr Erdogan, while you were away in the USA feeling important, Russia's naval fleet just took up residence in the Med to protect her interests, which may be anything from Syria to Cyprus. What are you going to do about that?

Oh, just one more thing Mr. Erdogan. While you are in the USA, this has been promoted in your honour.

Armenian 'genocide' bill introduced in US Congress

17 May 2013 /TODAY'S ZAMAN, İSTANBUL

Two Republican and two Democratic congressmen have introduced a bill in the US House of Representatives to recognize the mass killings of Armenians at the hands of the Ottomans in 1915 to coincide with Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdoğan's official visit to Washington for talks with US President Barack Obama over the recent developments in the Middle East.

“Cyprus may presell gas reserves to ease crisis”

The RoC should also promise to pay back in the future to all those who lost money recently from their bank deposits, the money received from the natural reserves.

You should have waited few more minutes before making your pointless post my friend, as I added another new development to my above post in honouring Erdogan's "successful" visit to the USA.

Kikapu, I'm not a lover of Turkey or Turks. If I had a 100 sisters/daughters I wouldn't allow a single one to marry one, I'd rather she married a GC. You on the other hand have 2 sisters married in Ankara Turkey to smelly dirty illiterate Turks.

What I have problem in understanding is what exactly have these Turks done to you that you hate them so much

Why do you assume I hate anyone, let alone Turks. As a matter of fact, I was just in Turkey last week visiting my sister and her family. (only one sister in Turkey)

Does that mean I have to like Turkey's foreign policy on Cyprus or in the region? Hell no!

Does it not bother you that Turkey's foreign policies on Cyprus since 74 has been harmful to ALL Cypriots, GCs and TCs alike? No matter what has happened in the past between the TCs and the GCs, we can all overcome those terrible days, but how do we overcome when Turkey's policies on Cyprus is ONLY what Turkey can get for herself at the expense of Cypriots, particularly TCs, since they are directly ruled by Turkey's policies in the north, and you have the cocksuckers, the so called TCs on this forum who want to do Turkey's dirty work in destroying out Cypriot heritage in Cyprus. I welcome all those countries who want to help Cypriots and Cyprus, but when they try to run our lives and country in their own ideology, I say to them, you are not welcomed any longer and get the hell out of our country and take your people and army with you. Would you rather prefer to become an foreigner without a voice in your own country of Cyprus, MR-from-NG and let Turkey do as she wishes? If you do, then you are a "better" man than I am, and if you don't want to become a foreigner in your own country, then what is it that you are really complaining about me not liking Turkey's foreign policy on our homeland?

And, is this a subtle message?

Fathali M. Moghaddam, an Iranian professor at Georgetown, presented Mrs Erdoğan with one of his books, “The Psychology of Dictatorship.”
