Credit to the Opposition in Turkey for this...

Republican People’s Party (CHP) leader Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu made the following statement in Brussels, reported today by Hurriyet...

..."After a press briefing with EU Socialist group leader Hannes Swoboda, Kılıçdaroğlu told a group of Turkish reporters that there was very little difference between Erdoğan and al-Assad in terms of democracy. “Between al-Assad and Erdoğan there is only a difference of shades. Both are oppressive, both have special courts and prosecutors. Media bosses call and ask which journalist is to be put [in jail]. Instructions are given to media. What difference do they have in terms of democracy?” Kılıçdaroğlu said..."

Well that's saying it as it is...!!!

Those are very strong and damning statements from the main Turkish Opposition.

Are you saying that there's no truth in them...???

You are the moron, he is a Turk, slating Turks, that has got to be worth something. Mad dog Erdo needs getting rid off period.
Your love for Erdo can only be because he has enabled you to keep the stolen GC properties you hold, hence you not wanting a reunification.

To get back to on-thread...

Some of the opposition in Turkey are also saying that this outrage may have been a False Flag Op...

... carried out by the Erdogan-backed Jabhat Al Nusra (similar to Al Quaeeda) Syrian rebels...!!!

..."ISTANBUL // A Turkish opposition MP yesterday accused the Syrian rebel group Jabhat Al Nusra of planting the twin car bombs that killed 46 people in a frontier town this weekend.

Recep Tayyip Erdogan, Turkey's prime minister, said he held the Syrian government responsible for the attack in Reyhanli. But Mehmet Ali Ediboglu, who represents the Republican People's Party (CHP), claimed that rebels with links to Al Qaeda had exploited lax security in Turkey's Hatay province.

He said he believed that Al Nusra had planted the bombs in the frontier area in a bid to drag Turkey into Syria's civil war because the rebels have realised that they need help to overthrow Bashar Al Assad's regime.

"This was the work of a very professional terrorist organisation," said Mr Ediboglu, who represents Hatay in parliament, told The National by telephone. "It looks like an Al Qaeda-style attack," he said, adding that Al Nusra had a strong presence on the Syrian side of the border region. "They want to get Turkey into the war."...
