They are holding it to blackmail, but we will never negotiate such things with an occupier!

Then keep watching from a distance.

this is partially true. Britain did not take the proper action though. By democratic vote the majority of the indigenous Cypriots, Greece and the international community where calling for enosis. Britain had her own plans, primarily, to keep Cyprus as a base and promised some social and economic reforms instead.

it was Britain's interests and Turkish nationalism that screwed Cyprus, embarking the start of what Greek Cypriots have today. Not Enosis, but Britains foreign policy and Turkish nationalism. taksim was an inverted carbon copy of enosis, born out of envy and Turkishness.

For your side, it has nothing today. your side is holding on to a financial black hole.

This takes first prize at stupidity and ignorance at its best, the GC educational system has done a great job of frying your brain. Doesnt it matter to you that a very large portion of your population did not want to become Greece, for them it meant their death warrant yet you still subscribe to this idiotic notion that we should have jumped into the fire because the majority told us to do so. It is this dream of yours which triggered off the events that divided Cyprus, your mental viewpoint with ensure that it will remain this way forever. We have always wanted to share thats what taksim stands for but what you wanted was give away the whole island to a foreign country. You people will never change.

who on the GC side talks about enosis. Its your kind that keeps bringing it up. Most of these forumers on here cant recall anyone that mentions it..Vp quit holding onto the past and come into the real world.

How can you forget what caused today and ignore arrogance like maxi and b52? the mentality is still the same in 2013.
