We don’t learn any lessons… we only give them out.

i am so happy you taught us the ultimate lesson gr, how to kill a 16 day old baby. thanks we will bear it in mind next time.

If you loved that baby you would've kept it in Turkey where it belonged!

Ottoman parenting isn’t well regarded you know…

Erdogan cant be appeased and this will not satisfy him.

Yes, you're prob right Maxi... but sometimes questions have to be asked... as they can be more revealing than the answers.

No Turkey isnt ready for peace, regardless of how hard Erdogan keeps trying. The only way Turkey can stay in one piece, is to create enemies all around herself ie..Greece, Cyprus, Israel, Kurds, Syria,Armenia etc.... Without these so called enemies, Turkey would completely decay from the inside out.

The world knows who said yes to peace and who said no....this is not a real offer Nato & Maraş for a few chapters and a supervised port is not a win win situation its a win GCs lose TCs and the world can see this.....offer rejected.

VP,

I do not discount what you are saying, however this is still not a win for the GC's. first of all, Turkey has nothing to lose but a lot of potential gain by following international law and the UN resolutions. She has spent the last 40 years trying to get out of Cyprus while maintaining the same illogical and illegal position. We are in the present day and its about Turkey saving face..

by handing back the fenced off area of Varosha to its legal and rightful owners, without compensation to go along with it so it can be rebuilt, it will be handed back in a state or complete ruin and despair.

think about it, the RoC is broke and in a lot of debt as you would like to say. How can they afford to restore the city to derive any financial or social benefit from it for its residence and the Republic?

I dont think you fully recognise the level of destruction Turkey has created in Cyprus over the years.

Probably nothing except the vested interest in his/her looted GC property.

This is complete Turkish propaganda Bollocks. This was not about peace, you said YES to being given Cyprus, legalise you atrocities, allow you to keep the stolen properties, whilst you also get back what you claim is yours in the south.

Thank god the majority of the GCs saw through this calamity and avoided it like the plague.

Stop spouting shit about what you said yes to, it was not a peace agreement, but a complete Cyprus on a plate to Turkey agreement. As the other shit stirrer claimed. 'The Annan Plan gave us everything we wanted and we become our own effendi'. It was a partition agreement in desguise, you know it, I know it, the world knows it, but the corrupt few would have us believe otherwise.

Only Gcs see it that way, the world knows that you rejected a comprehensive solution package prepared by the UN and supported by the majority of the world end of story, we said YES and you said NO so people world wide see you GCs as the rejectionsists.

Then why do you want it back? what moves have to seen to back your arguement that turkey has been trying to get out of Cyprus? if shes wanted to save face she would have adhered to EU demands instead she put the TRNC before the EU rather contradicts your claim.

I support opening Maraş but the offer has to be one that would benefit both sides.

its very simple they can have maras for opening ercan and magusa to world trade and terkey will open her ports and air space to them. its a bargain. but do you think they can see a good bargain when they have been in a stupefying rage for 60 years, i suspect not.
