The Zurich agreements set in place a constitution giving the minority T/Cs a 30% share of Parliamentary seats and to the G/C majority a 70% share. FACT.
The minority community was also given the right of veto. FACT.
The Zurich agreements did not increase the numerical numbers of the minority community but merely offered them the Veto in order that the majority could not enact any law that the minority would be at a disadvantage.
The FACT that the T/Cs were and still are the minority of Cypriot citizens is beyond question. Your constant inference that somehow the T/Cs would be reduced to a minority has no relevance since you can not reduce a lesser number making it a minority. The T/Cs were a minority measuring some 120,000 or 18% of the population, an irrevocable fact as per the British population census at the time of British rule.
Your equation of the Pakistanis in the UK, is flawed, since the UK has numerous minorities due to their numbers and not due to a decrease of their status by some parliamentary act.
The T/Cs, the indigenous to Cyprus, do not have to be a minority if they embraced Cyprus as their only true motherland.

claret baby the fact that tcs had the veto shows that they are not a minority. they have 50% pawer and rightly so otherwise cyprus would have been two states.

when it comes to who has breached the constitution first may i remind some of the members who seem to suffer from short term memory that it was breeched by makarios when:
1. he armed the gc police without informing the tcs
2. he brought greek arms and 10,000 greek soldiers
3 he created an gc army of 5000 men

so please lets not pretend to be stupid.

Therefore Lordo, 18% does not constitute a minority, likewise the 2% of others such as Armenians were also not a minority !!!

Your thinking is flawed as you are thinking along the lines of individual rights not community rights as given to us by the 1960 agreements, the fact that we are less is numbers is what this problem is trying to be reduced to by the GCs in order to give them the upper handwhich is what we will always oppose. We have rights as a community which makes us an equal partner on this island, the fact that this partner is shorter does not make us any less a partner.
