Don't want to disagree with you and prolong this unnecessarily, but you do have a pattern of denying history which you do not personally approve of or agree with (like ignoring the similarities between us and dinosaurs). Not only the Mycenaeans (a small wave) but many, many sea-crossings by Greeks over thousands of years led to the colourful culture of this island - just as the major crossings by the Germanic Tribes more recently led to the populating of the British Isles (recorded very recently whether you like it not). It's very sad when one silly person objects to history ...

Aaaah...but this is exactly how they have demonstrated their 'superiority' over Greeks and Cypriots my dear.

You see, you say the Brits have Saxon or Germanic influence, yet they are NOT German.

The Australians have Anglo Saxon influence, yet they are not English or German.

The Kiwis have Anglo Saxon/British influence, yet they are not English, German or British.

The Canadians have Anglo Saxon and French influence, yet they are not English, German or French.

Americans have the same influences as above, yet they are nothing but Americans.

All above mentioned countries are superior, despite your alleged "Spartan" influence, and this is proven. Compare anyone with Greece and see what a bunch of f@#ked up idiots Greeks are, and you try to follow their lead.

The best thing is this my dear. If you really love Greece and Cyprus, then both need to learn from countries like Germany, UK, US, Canada, Australia etc etc....otherwise just forget it!
