Add to this that the above goal was only a camouflage for their ultimate goal which was unquestionably enosis which for us meant our signed death warrant...thats why we had to fight back and did, without enosis taksim would never have been adopted by the TCs.
Now do you understand where we come from when we try to defend ourselves against the same ideology which wants to reduce us to minority status in our own country.
Lets look at this way VP. According to British figures during the British rule, the G/Cs were 80% the T/Cs were 18% and the rest others.
Just as the 20 or so millions of Kurds in Turkey form the minority, I don't see how the T/Cs can be any different.
In the UK there a myriad of minorities, just live with it.
If as you say the T/Cs are not a minority would you say the Armenians and Maronites are? Maybe you consider that the G/Cs as a minority.
Personally, minorities and majorities do not matter as long as all are equal citizens enjoying equal rights without discrimination or the fear of being undermined by the law.
Minority is generally a term used universally to describe a lesser numerical value but that does not diminish either the rights or the value of a minority. Since you call Cyprus your own country, do you consider that it is also the country of the G/Cs, if so, and I'm sure you do, then however you look at it you can not possibly accept that the G/Cs are not the overwhelming majority on the island. Demographic changes introduced by Turkey do not count.
