Ethanol can also be made from Natural Gas. Waxes from NG are used to make coatings on capsules and medicines.

Cyprus needs to consider developing these industries on the island instead of shipping cheap gas to Northern Europe to simply keep the Northern Europeans warm and so they can cook.

A pipeline to Turkey would be perfect had our incompetent politicians been capable of negotiating the liberation of Cyprus in return for a hydrocarbons partnership, but I’m not holding my breath…
