Excuse me. Is the plural in BOYS in error? I do believe I clarified what the substance was in the SECOND post of this thread.... (I do retain some of my schoolboy chemistry) However the Darwin reference is quite amusing.... "The Not So Terribly Good Club" Founded by Stephen Pile, good read.....

What do you mean by "clarified"? From where did you get the notion that they produced Deuterium? They used H2O - i.e. water - and got hydrogen gas (which they clearly state). They didn't use heavy water, which is D2O (sorry, can't do subscripts). The link above might help.

(I did remove my last post referring to the photosynthesis-like system, and the burning of blooming plants, because I don't like to kick when someone is down - plus - it wasn't directed at you. Yeah debate; but we have to remember we all have different backgrounds and need to be tolerant.)
