Once again the straw man argument...

I didn't claim that you said that did I...? I said: -

Clear enough for you...?

Why don't you take my advice and learn to read.

As I said, they do not go shark fishing from Latsi!

Are you claiming they went shark fishing?

This incident, from Latsi, was NOT one of shark fishing! Because, they do not go shark fishing from Latsi!

Now, if you are saying these guys went fishing for sharks, you'd better have some evidence to back this up.

(As usual, you make the mistakes after quoting my posts and then accuse me of straw man - you are hopeless.)

No one said he went specifically to fish for Shark. That is unproven.

But at the same time, he did not let the Shark go. He at the very least caught a Shark and happily reeled it in and then rode it like a Cyprus Donkey!

That, in itself can actually land you in jail, and the Diving Community are calling for Sharks to be protected as they should and prohibit Shark fishing which does occur.

At the same time, the fishermen in question had to use specific baits to lure the Shark, which seems to say that the Shark had approached the boat and they fished for it quite possibly.

Shark Fin soup was highlighted to merely say that Sharks are under pressure around the globe.

I must be the poster in question.

Well my dear, I never stated what you insinuate.

Furthermore my dear, go f@sk yourself!

What a shame to kill an endangered species but in my view the most "awesome" animal in the world. I will dive with them one day (it's on my "Bucket List".
To clarify, this is a Great White & not a Mako.....
The Great White has 3 rows of triangular teeth as in the picture. The Mako has 3 rows of more tubular/stick like structure teeth.
I researched these types of shark for over a 100 hours whilst compiling a 15 minute lecture on Killer Sharks while I was in the Royal Navy and read about 3 books and studied them on DVD & TV for about a further 30 hours.

Oh dear, you have it bad today don't you...?

Anyway, I've had a lovely afternoon - we had a BBQ on the beach, cooked souvlaki and sheftalia (prepared by Kafenes) and even went for a swim on the sea....

Amazingly, nobody was attacked by a Mako shark - nor did I see any jump in boats... we were just lucky I guess...
