Well, BillC is getting distressed by some ambiguities... the CNR report the Fisheries Dept confirm what someone posts above that shark fishing is prohibited off CY... but at the same time the Fisheries Dept spokesperson says...
"...Our aim is to allow fishing, since that’s their livelihood, but at the same time they are required to release such species, something known as ‘catch and release’, which also takes places in other European Union countries..."
So is it prohibited or not... ...???
