Reported in a number of sources in the Occupied Areas...

The sewage treatment plant serving Occupied Kyrenia haven't being paying their electricity bill and have had the power supply cut off.

The result is that untreated sewage is flowing in to Kyrenia harbour with amounts of human faeces visible in the harbour and sticking to the hulls of boats.

Visitors to Occupied Kyrenia are quoted as describing the unhealthy situation as an "unbearable smell of sewage", which is causing tourists to leave the area.

Here's a picky doing the rounds of the press up there under the headline...
