CYs and Brits of CY ancestry and their friends are organising shipments of non-perishables to CY to help out in the current difficulties.

The organisers write...

"...Fellow Cypriots, we urgently and kindly request your help for Cyprus. We need food, medical supplies and clothing. A number of charity organisations and individuals have organised the ‘Love Cyprus Campaign UK’ with the purpose of collecting and shipping humanitarian aid to Cyprus.

The food and household goods that will be collected will be shipped to Cyprus free of charge by Cavenco Shipping Company and will be distributed to the Communal Distributions (Κοινωνικά Παντοπωλεία) in all the main towns of Cyprus.
