Hi

Have just stumbled across the website and registered, so apologies if this is a question been asked many times before.

My girlfriend and I plan a return trip to Cyprus, previously we stayed in Kato Paphos, we are thinking of Protaras this time around.

Can anyone give any opinions between the two locations and any recommendations on any good 4/5 star half board / all inclusive hotels and who is the best UK based tour operator to use.

if you r young or feel young then protaras/ayia napa area will be great.
if you dont like noisy places ,clubbing etc then dont go there.
a lot of hotels are of good quality ,some 4-5 star hotels that i know in protaras are : sunrise hotel, capo bay hotel,ayios elias village resort. there are others 2 but i dont remember their names(kapetanios hotel,nafsika hotel ....i think).
i dont live in uk so i cant help you with the tour operators...

It better worths to rent your own private villa instead of booking a hotel. Imaging having a luxurus villa avaiable to you and your childrens 50 meters from the beach. And the cost compare to 4 or 5 starts hotels is lower. I would suggest you to see this site and the prices they have- is very low because you will rent it directly from the owner. www.rent-cyprusvillas.com

You have been away now I think - but for anyone else asking this question Protaras is ace and if you haven't been, then go! The food, entertainment, accomadation are all superb x
