The worst thing I can think of is lying in bed (with my windows open, of course) in my home village and hearing the rustle of overgrown weeds/grasses, the growling of a cat and the slither of a snake, then a scuffle and commotion and finally a yelp and miaow which comes to a quick stifling end. Next day, the pretty grey slinky cat is nowhere to be found ... :(

Maybe it was one of those domesticated by Brits!

I know there's something in what you say.

But still ...

Yes, there's a big patch that looks like no man’s land and a mosque with parking lot at one end, with some date palms here and there.

Your turn...

But Scottish folk deliberately run over rabbits to keep the numbers down - for the farmer's turnip harvest (so they say).

- Will never get into a car driven by a Scot ever again, except my husband (who has been tamed :D )

We saw a particularly well squashed example of a cat....the wife tried to distract our 6yo daughters' attention, but one of them saw the sad remains and with cheerful voice shouted
"I know what that cat was doing.....star-jumps!"

out of the mouths of babes....
