the illegal settlers should be resettled in back in Turkey, everyone's property rights should be respected, and the Turkish military must withdraw and respect Cyprus sovereign integrity. Those TC's who identify more with Turkey can depart with them. Those TC's that choose to remain can take up their citizenship as equal individuals, in a democratic republic of Cyprus. This is an amicable, lasting and just solution.

The will of the majority must be respected and the rights of minorities protected.

I also believe that those G/Cs who also identify with Greece to the detriment of their true motherland, should also depart.
It is time for the nation of Cyprus to mature, nobody is in denial of the fact that there are on this island Greek Cypriots, Turkish Cypriots and others, primarily in my opinion they are all fundamentally CYPRIOTS.

Its from these agreements which the GCs want to erase that we are accepted as a partner in the formation of the "RoC". Another important point that you have to understand is that both sides agree BBF with political equality of the two states is a compromise between enosis and taksim. Once you understand these very important issues you will understand the TC viewpoint.

We will never accept becoming a minority in a GC run state, we would rather as the north become part of Turkey or remain the same than surrender to this GC demand....if you can out forward a solution that incorporates a BBF with political equality of the two sides then I am pretty certain that the majority of TCs would once again say yes, but the Gcs would never accept your BBF proposition as it does not give them Cyprus on a plate.

I know this much VP, the Zurich agreements of 1960 recognized that there was a majority and a minority, why else would the G/Cs have 70% and the T/Cs 30% of parliamentary seats.
I know that the T/Cs also had the right of veto, unheard of in modern history, none could govern !!

Nowhere in the agreements do they refer to the TCs as a minority, the fact that there was partnership deal of 30% 70% plus the all important veto proves our claim that both sides are founders not a majority minority deal that the GCs would want you to believe.please dont be so gullible...the agreements also support the fact that we are considered a side to any future solution that is suitable to this partner as well as the other partner being the GCs, the referendum is also another important indicator that our votes weight is 50% of the deciding factor.

Do you think we will just give up these rights unless something far better is placed before us? add to this 1974 and the face of Cyprus has changed forever, it will never go back to how it was which was hell on earth for us. After 39 years of peaceful existence you surely cannot expect us to throw away our internationally recognized rights to live as a minority amongst Gcs in our own homeland.

Its BBF with political equality of the two states or nothing, the offer has to be far better than what we have today and a minority among vengeance seeking GCs just does not cut it. They have to start to realize this fact maybe you can try and explain it to them.

I am 100% Turkish Cypriot living in the TRNC whos heritage on this island gives me just as much right as any Greek Cypriot.

you will find that the latest resolution/decision deletes the others. annan plan was the last. you lost. never mind better luck next time. but be awake next time there is a vote otherwise you will lose for the last time.
