...there is the Flag of the Republic of Cyprus, there is the Flag of Turkey, and of Greece, for the so called TRNC to have any value, there must be a flag like yours which represents the vast majority whether you like it or not, a Flag for a Greek Constituency, (and in this regard i ask, where is the Armenian and the Maronite, and why not a Latin (and an English Cypriot) Flag as well?). Hold on a moment Im a very proud Turkish Cypriot whos motherland is North Cyprus, I will not be forced into minority status by the GCs like the Pakistanis and other ethnic groups in the UK, they are treated as foreigners, second class citizens always at a disadvantage. I want to be like the Scottish and Welsh in the UK, do you understand the difference?

Does being less in numbers make me any less a partner when you consider the agreements of 1960?

I support compromise via a BBF with political equality of the 2 states, isnt that conciliatory enough for you? ask how many GCs support the same, all they demand is that they are the majority and we are the minority and should throw away our internationally recognized rights to become foreigners in our own country.

Why do you want this for us TCs?

As for the Welsh and the Scots, they have their country which is part of the UK, their countries respectively have not been created by force and invasion as the "trnc" was.
Tell me something, why do you think that in more than 30 years not one single nation on earth has yet to recognize the so called "trnc" ? Could it be that the international community share my views that the northern parts of Cyprus are an integral part of the RoC under Turkish occupation.
I refer to your comments concerning my identity and I again state that on reaching 100 post I shall reveal much about my self. As how long this may take I don't know since I'm having a long break away from the UK, so be patient sir, I will keep my word when my 100th post is made.

Its 2013! try and move up a notch from your current status of unrecognised illegitimate to minority community in Cyprus. Better still, make haste, go and become a super Turk in Turkey.

Hello the current situation is much preferred to that of becoming a minority in the south, we can do that tomorrow but for us it not even an option...just think for one second how badly that reflects on you?

How can you love something which has only brought about mistrust and fear, the "Roc" does not represent anything good for us, it was never a real step towards building a Cypriot people but only a stepping stone towards enosis or taking control of the whols island and pushing the surviving TCs into minority status which even in 2013 has not changed. The majority of TCs love the safe haven, tranquility and peaceful TRNC, I am no different the south is like a foreign country full of people who speak a different language and want to force more suffering on my people demanding they throw away their rights and give up the TRNC to become a minority in a GC run state...a second class citizens like the Pakistanis in the UK. Why do you demand this?

The Pakistanis choose to move to the UK and accepted minority status for a better life but in my case this is my country you dont want to give me that choice but want to force me into minority status or tell me to move to a foreign land just to make you happy and give Cyprus to you on a plate, well you know that will never happen.

If you dont know the Scots and English fought many a hard battle for their lands so our fight is no different, the division was the result of our own actions and has brought about 39 years of peaceful exisistance, you cannot deny this reality, we want our own area to administer and feel a sense of freedom from any Gc threats this over time and building of trust and good relations can be revised and changed but the only way forward for us to start trusting the Gcs is via a BBF with political equality of the 2 states, why are the GCs so against this? Recognition maybe important but it is not everything there are far more important issues such a peaceful exisitence which we did not have prior or 1974, so you need to face the reality that the TRNC can continue for many years to come without recognition, at this rate it will still be around long after we are dead.

As you your identity I have a sneeking feeling that you are a former member who has changed his name tricking us all into responding to your posts, maybe we ignored you so much that you went away for a while only to come back lieing your way back onto this forum.

Wrong again, under the internationally recognized guarantees Turkey intervened to resolve the problems between the TCs and Gcs, which to date has not beem possible the last attempt being the AP which the GCs rejected.

let me explain this to you in a language you understand. tcs are a nation. they have their human rights. anybody who denias tham that right by calling them a minorty can go to hell and lose 37.5% of cyprus at the same time.

you can take you share and do as you wish but dont expect tcs to do as you wish.
