Just out of curiosity, I don't want to get embroiled in something that I haven't a passion for, like the two factions debating this subject obviously have. But is there no middle ground that you can all agree on? Cos I'm sure if you guys/girls on here can at least get close surely there is hope for re unification in some form or another that is beneficial for the Island and future generations? Again I am not taking sides and not giving an opinion.

I find your continued reluctance to openly respond to my simple request that you reveal your ethnic origins and location dubious, indicating that you are neither genuine nor impartial in your posts, again you show this by not really responding to direct questions and only using words that cloud and do not put forward anything of substance.

In your above post the operative words you used were "to live peacefully side by side", which we have been been doing for the last 39 years. Let me bring to your attention that side by side ideology changed forever in 1974, whatever the events we have to look at the reality of today and how we can go forward together or as we are. TCs will only go forward united if the solution is better than what they have today, recognized or not they have been living peacefully for 39 years without the problems they faced with GCs in the past, what they GCs are offering is not what the TCs want so why should they accept minority rights in a GC run state? We want a BBF where each state run their own affairs at the local level under a federal unmbrella with political equality in decision making, whats wrong with this its what the UN EU and majority of nations supported via the AP but due to ulterior motives and lack of desire for a BBF the GCs rejected.

Why do you like the GCs oppose a BBF with political equality of the 2 states?

Having carried out some research into your posts and those of what appears to be an adversary of yours,Kikapu, I have concluded that if one does not share your views one must either be a G/C or in the case of a Turkish Cypriot as Kikapu is, a traitor. No sir, you are wrong. The facts are there for all to research and drawn their own conclusions.
I reiterate that the political problems facing Cyprus are due to the two devil nations, one the one tyou embrace and the other the one that a large percentage of G/Cs also embrace.

The RoC does not need to offer the TCs anymore than what is accepted under the EU norms, specially since the TCs have ZERO say so about their own future anyway, because they have voluntarily have given that control over to the Illegal Aliens and Turkey to decide for them. When the time comes, Turkey will make the decision to normalise relations with the RoC one way or the other, which at that time, you will have no choice but to accept the terms agreed between the RoC and Turkey. CASE CLOSED!

The compromise is BBF with political equality of the 2 states but the GCs will not play ball.
