Now you got it!

Which goes right back to... "Why didn't you fucking ask them?"

Since you clearly enjoy having the last word in each conversation, and already Mik and GreekIslandGirl have been more than helpful, this will be the last time I comment on this post, in order to allow you to say your piece again & close the conversation.

However, because I can now only make assumptions from the way of your replies about what kind of character you are, I would expect you to indeed never answer this post and to simply allow my final post to just 'hang there' without you acting like you would normally.

How someone can turn a query into a fruitless conversation, I do not know but congratulations for making it happen.

This is not a debate someone on the forum asked a question I have tried to give them a basic idea.

The Government publishes a minimum wage for certain sectors of the economy, but not all of them.

€743 per month for shop assistants, nurses' assistants, clerks, hairdressers, and nursery assistants; it rises to €789 after six months' employment

It only became a debate because you don't know what you are talking about.

You should’ve mentioned right from the start that what you wanted was a fruitless conversation in which case Grumpy would’ve taken over!

I will now withhold from making a job offer and alert all employers here that you are taking us for a ride!!!

I don't??? Ok so you googled your answer and took it from wikipedia? Here's some more for you from the first page of "minimum wage Cyprus"
http://wiki.answers.com/Q/What_is_the_m ... _in_Cyprus
http://www.eurofound.europa.eu/eiro/stu ... 08019q.htm
http://www.cyprus-mail.com/cyprus/minim ... 7/20100330
http://www.financialmirror.com/research ... 84&rt=News
Take your pick......
The last time I worked for a Cypriot company I was told it was 854 euros, can't be sure but I also think the 'Labour Office' said the same, however I will concede NO I DON'T KNOW FOR SURE I as I said before was giving a rough idea.
Also I would like to add that what you are told you'll get and what you may receive by said employer maybe very diffrent.
