That is north Nicosia. That municipality is in a huge mess. A new mayor has just taken over.

But it is the press in the Occupied Zone who raise the issue, not the GC......

You should change the title to reflect more accurately which council.

Perhaps it ought to read "Occupied Nicosia ............."

This would be more clear to any reader coming on site.

If anybody is interested, the new mayor has announced that staff will receive their April wages tomorrow (30 April).

...the title is very clear, the whole world identifies with Nicosia, it is the "Turks" who deny this, in the proxy war they have with "Greeks", the rest of us suffer. the readership should be confused.

Cypriots have very clear examples of this rot, one way or the other, soon (i hope) they will turn toward each other, it is natural, given that their 'motherlands' (read: the elites who have the power to exploit this drama) see this island as property to plunder, the dwellers chattel upon it. many fear the change (rejecting the sense of "Greekness" or "Turkishness"), the hatred expressed seeped in visions inescapably cruel, a weapon in resisting any charity, as Humans toward one another, because the debate is flawed, wrongly framed, denying the obvious, Cyprus is for Cypriots, neither Turkey, nor Greece, (nor Britain for that matter), have demonstrated their commitment to a State, where as island dwellers there is Freedom, and where as Persons their Liberty is respected.

...the results for Cypriots is clear, banks sacked and wages, (utility bills), unpaid, the cost of the "sacrifice" as subjects to corrupt deep states.
