Setting an example

Postby devil » Tue Nov 08, 2005 2:23 pm

Today, in Larnaca, I followed a motorcycle cop for about 2 km or so. In this time, he committed a number of traffic offences:
- he passed the white line at lights and stayed there with the rear of his machine blocking a pedestrian crossing
- he passed a car on the left
- he exceeded the speed limit (he was obviously just patrolling and not on an emergency)
- he did not signal a turn off the road he was on
- he tailgated a car for at least 500 m

Are the astynomia not supposed to set a good example?

hehe...they are setting a good example...they act like the majority of drivers.....
just to get more serious i happened to see police cars parked on pavements when it is not allowed for other people to do so and of course all the violations you mention.....
and i dont want to start mentioning ambulance drivers.....
