I have applied for Cyprus Citizenship since 3 years, i went for the first interview too, but now it has been 3 years nothing is happening. i have been in Cyprus for 11 years now, and because i have now work permit, i cannot work at all. but now due to situation, i need to check what has happened with my passport.. because i need to work.
i am Armenian by the way..
anyone has any information ? how long do i get my passport after applying?
PS: i have 2 lawyers ''working'' on my case.. (one of them who is our friend) but no result..
all they say for the last 3 years is that they are still looking at applications made in the year 2006.. so that means it will take another 10 years to reach my application if it continues like this.. :p

If you are Armenian and you need a new passport, you should contact your embassy first and foremost - you won't get a work permit from the RoC without a valid passport.

The Armenian Embassy for Cyprus, Hellenic Republic, is in Athens - perhaps phone them?

no it's not that i dont have passport. i have valid passport, until 2015, and i have valid visa in Cyprus. but my visa is VISITOR.. which doesnt permit me to work.
before i was student. as i was going to school..that time i was able to work.. and i was working part time with no problem at all.. but when i finished my school, we had to change it to visitor visa..
I have applied to get Cypriot nationality.. i havnt applied to renew a passport or visa..

Have you get any good news for your passport?
I have applied for almost 2 years and I have not hear anything .
For those who already got it,what were the procedures after you have applied.
were you call for interviews? how many times and after how many months/years.
Did they send you a letter at home / call you on your mobile?
