If she had been Premier of Cyprus, we would not have had to put up with what the EU have done to us.....

Indeed....I am proud to actively campaigned for the Conservatives under Maggie (Andrew Mitchell) in Sunderland south in th early 80's.

The industries that went were already toast but like others many were in denial and could not see that change was essential.

Some people have very short memories. Do you not remember the Winter of discontent?
Power strikes, rubbish in the streets piled up with rats running around,people who had passed away not being buried due to strike action.
The Unions abused what the Tolpuddle Martyrs stood for when Trade Unions were founded.
The majority had suffered enough and the Union stranglehold needed to be broken.
Baroness Thatcher did this. Scargill was responsible for breaking communities and families apart. I know. I was there.

Celebrations of her death finished with people attacking the Police. That is their mentality and true desire.

RIP Iron Lady.
