It amazes me after all the history of lies and deceipt by Greek and Cypriot politicians that you still fall for everything they tell you. I think it will be hugely expensive to transport gas by ship. Its unlikely that Isreal will chip in to this plant. They would not want to give that kind of power/control to another nation. Likewise the Cypriots would never give that leverage to Turkey. I doubt the Turks will do anything violent. But I think they will make a huge fuss that under the 1960 constitution Turkish Cypriots are entitled to a share. Greek Cypriots will say No and Turkey will use that as a pretext to end talks as the international community will be spilt as to the legal position. I think Turkey has a longterm plan. The AK party has recently said that it would be agreeable to
form a Federal Turkey with Kurdish states having autonomy. This is what I think will be offerred to Turkish cypriots - most are reluctant to br part of Turkey. It was never an aspiration. But Federalism is different.

I am quite surprised they didn't try to claim North Sea Gas when it was discovered!

...not a drop, as far as Italy to Egypt, that Continental Shelf Turkey claims.

...and what about Kurds, and Armenians, to be fair therefore, aren't they entitled to their measure, don't they have cash in hand with every claim that's made by "Turks" in Turkey, like the "Turks" of Cyprus ? it's a pity, because when one studies Ataturk, and the spark on which Turkey was founded, he is a great thinker, unlike the Kemalists who deny that a State is quite different to Nations, and each requires its Tribute (in Liberty) as Persons to make a whole as Individuals for Freedom.

...indeed, if a BBF was made in Cyprus, like some template, "perfect", it could be applied to Turkey, because it could be applied in Europe as well. Bicommunal and Bizonal are Turkish demands, so too (con)Federation, but in any case the fact remains that Cyprus is Sovereign, and it is recognised as the Republic of Cyprus. Lordo, if you want a Turkish Constituency, "you" must demand a Greek Constituency (at least) to exist. Cyprus is Turkey's equal, the so-called TRNC has no equal, (and in over thirty years it has demonstrated that it can do no more than remain dependant to a State that subjects it to assimilation and illegal settlement). indeed, the Republic is dysfunctional, because it is mono-clonal in this artificial state where there is great resistance to the Free Movement, and Association that is anathema to those Ignorant enough to think that Cyprus is valuable to them alone, those who care little of its value to the rest of Mankind, suitable for plunder, to be divided like property along a line where war will always be present even in long and extended times of peace. the Greeks as you call them, are Cypriots, (that was proven with the coup which failed in two days lacking support from the Civilian population) it is a time for Cypriots to unite, there is a great deal on the table, as well as the plate. step up, Lordo, i have, serve yourself as a Cypriot, a better Republic is needed, say it, the way forward is more Liberty with Cypriot Constituencies as equals, i agree, the State Free, and in its defence of Universal Principals a Government which has removed the bias of Nations in its decision making, its Citizens Sovereign, because as Individuals they are equal, this is what is as the way. one drop (of what) for who? i know you've said that you love Cyprus, i know that you are reminding those who have it easy because they are a vast majority to be thinking more carefully, but what comes around goes around and it goes both ways for a long time now, i choose to step out of the circle, like Makarios who was unwilling to join in on tearing the island in two, or the gates that Denktash opened for whatever reason Cyprus came first, and as a Cypriot whether Greek or not i suggest you can choose to act accordingly.

...it's not all about Money, and in the end it is.

...good news, you don't have to be bitter if you won't fight for a better Cyprus, the Republic that represents the whole, it is still yours as a Cypriot; you are welcome, it is your Right, you can decide to make things right, to have a State neither "Greek" or "Turk" that serves you, where "they" like "you" serve it, in each's demonstrations as National Assemblies, (representing their electors within Territorial Jurisdictions) at Goodwill. why bluster for the interlocutors dude, you are demeaning yourself as such i'm afraid, there are other choices to support. good news, one more reason to have hope that what is wealth is in development wisely, getting at the stuff as Cypriots is what counts at this point, isn't it? at present Lordo, if it is "yours" you show poor management by giving Turkey all the say, and (if only as a mouthpiece) by turning to litigiousness at this point so early where any quantity (except for 7 billion) is known.
