These are the latest pictures of the destruction caused up in the Karpas by the Rubbish Regime's road widening...

why do they need to widen the road?

As preperation for tourism developments of the mass tourism type.

The last few miles of the road up to the top end of the Karpas looked like this... 'til a few weeks ago... :(

A delightful little road, one that sat quite comfortably in the landscape...

you cant stand in front of progress. planners have to make space for the million tourists in just a couple of years.

move on to more important things.

Only a fool could fail as miserably as you do Vordo, in your trying to convince the World that "progress" is destroying one of the top two ecologically rich and diverse areas on CY.

For the rest of you, who ain't fools...

This is a Mediterranean Monk Seal (Monachus monachus).

There are fewer than 500 of her type left in the whole World so it is a critically endangered species which enjoys the highest levels of protection.

She's a frequent visitor to the shores off the top end of the Karpas.

Isn't she lovely...???
