This is a true story. In a talk on Greek defence spending given by a senior navy officer a lady gets up at the end of the talk and asks emotionally if it would not be better to spend all that money on education rather than arms. Defence spending is not negotiable for countries that have no plans to project power beyond their borders. Look elsewhere. Or in short, piss off.

So why, when hunting season begins, . all you brave hunters go out into the wilderness,dress in well pressed fatigues,gun loaded ready to blast the life out of anything that moves,do you shoot one another, last year one brave warrior managed to shoot himself in the back> You couldn't make it up, defend Cyprus no chance.
