does any one think that people all over the world should take savings out of banks and put their money into gold or diamonds etc.

If that happend would the financial world then face up to the corruption that is endemic within its walls?

people should take their money out of the banks and put it into production of food and goods of necessity
the real economy is the only safe place for investments now that the financial system has been agonizing for the last 5 years

the produce that people would get would be achieved by local labor, thus balancing the constantly rising unemployment
and the goods would be sold on the local markets diminishing the international dependence

And how on earth will the average family man convert that gold or diamonds into cash (as well as not getting ripped off) when the need arises?

Your best bet is a safe in your house.

people dont eat neither gold nor diamonds
and in a depression the only people that would exchange the above for cash, food and necessities are going to speculate with the prices
do you want to deal gold with crooks?

why would anybody go through cash and diamonds when all he needs is food and clothes?
just put your money in a farm - better yet do the farm yourself
the cash will then come flowing back to you

I have to say bob is right, but I would go further, You have to curtail statutes to give you the freedom to grow what you like. If you put your money into houses the Authorities will only tax them. In the UK centuries past, the authorities taxed windows, so people then bricked them up to avoid the tax. It is a problem when Government gets top heavy it squashes the people below. :shock:
