Why would you want to ruin the world’s biggest snake and reptile park?

I say leave it and charge an entrance fee!

Nobody’s got the money for anything else right now.

VP there is absolutely no goodwill from Turkey towards the ROC. Turkey is now threatening Italy because of its involvement in gas exploration off Cyprus.

I wonder how long the huge FIAT factory will stay in Turkey if these threats become reality.
Hey, they could move it to friendly EU Greece or even Cyprus. :lol: :lol: :lol:

After 40 years of decay nothing is salvageable by today’s standards so the wrecking/demolishing fees alone would be astronomical.

Its all political manovering nothing more. I think radical decisions have to be made form both sides to take on a venture that proves more can be achieved united than divided if it doesnt work then we will all know that union is just a pipe dream.

Start with something smaller to build trust. You can't just jump to bed with the Gcs. You take the Gcs out for lunch, you wine and dine them, you give them an oil massage... and then maybe you build a small community centre together... if you are lucky!

...location is everything.

in 1960 the beach front in Famagusta was scrub used by sheepherders. in the '70's it had become the most valuable real estate, by square foot in the Mediterranean. guts means rebuilding this city, as i said maras doesn't mean a thing, except to "Turks".

gutless is to build a "New" city, on the bones of so many, Greek, Turk, Jew, and so many others who loved. Guts are those Cypriots who will not relent, on Principal, their Humanity, unlike those so willing to deal. Money is not everything, it will take those who have remained silent to speak, with Cypriot Flags.

"you" vp, cannot even produce clean drinking water, because as you say, the Greeks engaged could be spies. gazing in your navel, with pipe dreams that mammma Turkey will save you is no joint venture, you too will be sold. wake-up, and respect the fact that your hatred is not Cypriot, it is only the gawking expressions of a deep state wannabe, in a "world" where there are places to slurp everywhere.

it comes to mind that you know nothing of what was, since you deny the Cypriot existence, which has nothing to do with the "Greek" or the "Turkish" you seem to be obsessed with. the Cyprus Problem is about whether we want to live in a world where there is segregation, it is about Citizenship and Identity, it is about our Free Will as people and the Liberty we seek as corporations, it is not simply a Proxy War between Turkey and Greece, it has more to do with a state of mind, rather than the impossibility of Greeks and Turks living together as they do anywhere else in the world, something better. in Cyprus BBF means anything but two parts, it is meant to better define our sense of State as something different to Nation, the words, Individual, and Person, come to mind.

...joint venture, be a Man first vp, then you can say something other than coy one word insults.

...joint venture, open Ercan to the Federal Government's control, demand a Greek Constituency be formed (three governing bodies; not two).

...joint venture, get off the high horse and clean your streets, now that the rest of Cyprus is your equal, speak with humility because your regime is not pristine, it too is facing failure. Famagusta could be a start, (to save ourselves,) but first, say, i love Cyprus.

@vp, my friend.
