Israel is a shit load more important to Cyprus than Greece.

Put that in your pipe and smoke it my little Greek Racist pig!

Matt Groenig is a Jew right?

Do you like "The Simpsons"? You probably watch every episode.

...we continue with our allies, isolating Turkey who meddles in all our affairs where she has no business. Syria, Israel, Lebanon, and Egypt, are sound partners toward recognising the great need for cooperation so that the resources are exploited safely, and with as little harm to the Mediterranean possible. our allies like Europe, and the Navies of individual countries are the countervailing power to her design to once again defy International Law toward her own design.

...we continue to capitalise on our unique geographic position, and the service we provide as honest Brokers.

I knew that one day someone, somewhere, somehow would embrace my ideas. Let's talk business. :D

Bad idea, never trust a Jew.

It's bad to trust them, but it's good to use them.

Exactly, cheap (relatively clean) and reliable gas is the best way forward - will boost the economy in so many ways...

But where on earth are the funds to extract and process whatever is down there going to come from?

If its gonna be one of those deals whereby the company extracting it is also funding it I think we’re better off leaving it there in case we end up increasing our debt!

It is always funded by private companies (as is right)...

The host nation imposes taxes on the fuel extracted as it sees fit....

These fools are too dumb to approach Turkey and cut a package deal that will transfer gas through Turkish soil in return for the island’s liberation, so if they proceed to get others to fund everything AND direct it in Greece’s direction we’re fucking doomed!

We’re gonna end up owing far more than we do now!

...i thought you were "Greek", (both are excellent examples of Free Expression), Golden Dawn is no better, nor are racists and xenophobes who think, unless you are "them", Human beings can be "used". (shame of it is, you winked, and i guess you're only "joking", or maybe i'm just too serious.)

friend, it has nothing to do with a so called Political belief, or National identities, there are real enemies where hatred is well founded, it is not each other. (it is a state of mind: Lest We Forget.)

...and if you are Cypriot, i would be silent about the selfish fears you have elsewhere posted, for now they are even harmful. you are smart and resourceful, be helpful and polite if you love Cyprus first, and if you must have Pride as a Person as well, kurupetos i most humbly say, follow the Golden Rule because truly we have survived for thousands of years with this Faith, loving (even if our enemy is without it). take a look around you take stock, organise and communicate the best of your intelligence, locally, it is a war for Cyprus, solidarity and hard work is needed, miv blastimas, keep, all, your powder dry, wait for the vollies to strike after the barrage, and then, look beyond, it will be a hot summer no joke, because no one is an enemy, but Erdogan, who is coming.

...yes a package deal with Turkey, right here right now, nice fantasy.

Importing fossil fuels should be limited as well. Our renewable energy sources must be fully exploited, and the RES industry must be state-supported and encouraged for further development.

I do not know of any island nation in the world who is self-sufficient, do you? Would be nice it that can be achieved but i think it is rather unrealistic.

Obviously not. We can never become completely self-sufficient, but we should exploit our full potential towards that direction.

Currently Cyprus is producing less solar power than Germany! Why? Because of lack of planning.

Have a look here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Solar_power_by_country

I would re write my gaedouraki idea but what's the point?

Or perhaps because Germany has approximately 35 times the land area of Cyprus...?

Bollocks.

Total photovoltaic peak power capacity (MWp)

Germany: 24,875

Cyprus: 10 (10*35=350  )

24,875>>350
:P
