Nobody stole your jobs, you gave them away because you didn't want to clean hotel rooms or wait on tables for low wages. I was in Rhodes last year, huge hotel, ALL the staff were locals as far as I could tell. It's up to employers to hire who they want, I expect most of them will have unemployed cousins who worked in banking, thank God for nepotism, the foreigners won't get a look in.
Cypriots are fortunate in that they have relatives abroad who will, no doubt, do all they can to support Cyprus, perhaps us "charlies" and semi-Cypriots will suffer fewer disparaging remarks in future.

Foreigners didn't steal jobs. They either took jobs Locals wouldn't or couldn't do.

I'm afraid you are talking bollocks. There are many foreigners in highly paid jobs, such as doctors, nurses, teachers, academics, etc.

Well, I forgot, you don't live in Cyprus.

Bollocks yourself, where did I say that foreigners don't do highly paid jobs? There are 24,000 Romanians, 19,000 Bulgarians, 9,000 Filipinos and 7,000 Sri Lankans according to the last census. Are you seriously suggesting they are all in well paid professional jobs? Idiot.

You must be blind if you haven't seen the foreigners working in cafes, bars and hotels. A visitor to Cyprus notices these things, a local like you with his head up his own arse sees bugger all.
