Hello.
Im a Swedish girl that really would like to find my father.
We have never met and i don't know to much about him, but what i do have/know is:
His name (not sure about the spelling wich makes the serching online-part kind of hard)
That he lived in Limassol (about 22 years ago)
The year he was born
Some pictures of him taken 24 years ago

He knows about me but he lost contact with my mother when i was only 1year old and last think she heard was that he was getting married.

Any ideas wher i can turn to so that i maybe can find him??

Hi,

do you know if your father is from a village? If that is the case then you could visit his village and speak to the locals. You could speak to the Priest, the local council, or the coffee shop owners. Someone is bound to know your father and at least take you to some family of his. This would be the easiest way.

If not then try the Limassol Council, police and or other authorities. Not sure if the Electoral Roll is public information but if it is then go to The Ministry of Interior to find out because the Electoral Roll will have his residential address. While you're at it, try to speak to Cypriot Ministerial Authorities who may be able to help you or even point you to other people who could help.

Another way is to get as much information from your mother, and his personal details and hire a Personal Investigator who can dig deeper on your behalf.

There also might be a possibility that your father migrated to another country and I hope that is not the case because it will complicate your search.

His name is Panikos/Panicos Symeou (not sure about the spelling of the last name eighter..)
As fas as my mother knows he was born in 1966 and lived in Limassol.
They met in 1989 and had a realtionship, she visited cyprus about 11 times under a period of time, i was born in 1990 in sweden and they spoke on the phone from time to time under my first year. It was he that always called her (from a payphone) and she didn't have a number to him. The calls from him came with bigger and bigger space between and when my mothers friend visited cyprus she met him and he told her that he was getting married but that that sha couldn't tell my mother (of course she did) and she never heard from him again..

Just to help you with your search in Greek his name is Πανίκος Συμεού but I'm sure there must be a number of them by that name.

Thank you for your answer! I have seen that man to, and at first i tought that it might be him but after some searching i found out that that man was born 1975 mich makes him to young.
