euro exit is the ONLY way for cyprus to recover and regain its independence
staying with the euro is basically transferring all powers to germany
and germany doesnt give a flying banana about the economy of cyprus
the OFFICIAL eropean stand is that cyprus should stick to tourism ONLY
since that is in no way enough to feed the population casinos will be the second most important source of income
and thats it
according to europe cyprus should become one giant agia napa
is that what cypriots want?
i dont think so

exit the euro and rebuild the offshore status
and to hell with germany

Offshore status with an own currency would probably not work.
I suppose that the currency would be worthless for that as you would not be able to exchange it with real goods.

Euro is dead in two years , the sooner we throw it to the dustbin the better off we will be. Let the Germans use this currency.
After Cyprus will be Slovenia and Spain according to some news.
