the laiki cards dont work anymore
also they can not be used at the atm

When and where they didn't work? I used a Laiki card at about 7pm with no problems.

indeed all credit card are blocked from yesterday night 12:00. my father in law has 1800 euros in , he went to carefour and spend all

No they are not, I have seen people taking money out of Laiki ATMs today.

No they are not, I have seen people taking money out of Laiki ATMs today.


They could of course be using foreign debit/credit cards which still work at all ATMs.

He bought food at Carrefour for 1800 EUR?
That was a great decision. I'm asking me if there will be soon a starvation in Cyprus.
