Funny, I have had a quick look at the main German news sources, and can't find that story.

It is true that suppliers are increasingly insisting on cash payment up front, but that is different from saying that there are no deliveries taking place.

But how do you get cash?! Its limited to 100 EUR and maybe soon to 0 EUR?

OK, if the banks never open again, then the kind of scenarios that you paint may start to have some relevance. As things stand, the banks are set to open on Thursday. I actually imagine that the island is awash with cash at the moment given the amounts that people have been withdrawing from ATMs.
PS 100 EUR a day is enough for anybody to live on.

I took my cat to the vet the other day - €130

I took my Panjero to the garage and filled it up with diesel the other day - €125

The blue Circle guy filled up my gas tank - €200

Etc.

€100 per day doesn't go far when it comes to paying all the bills....

OK, then, it is enough for me to live on.
Blimey, I took my two cats for a routine visit to the vets not long ago and got change from 50 euro, and that included a tube of stuff to undo hairballs.

last night many people complained for not being able to use their laiki cards
it seems something is going on behind the scenes
such disruptions are making everyone very nervous
it seems things are back to normal now but who knows for how long...

You should have drowned the cat, used your motorbike, and put a coat on!
