JERUSALEM —Israel Apologizes To Turkey Over Flotilla Deaths Israel and Turkey agreed to restore full diplomatic relations on Friday after Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu apologized in a phone call for a deadly naval raid against a Gaza-bound international flotilla in a dramatic turnaround partly brokered by President Barack Obama. (Huffington Post USA)
Morons (like Kikapooo and B52) will be morons they will say absolutely anything to support their own stupidity, the sad thing is that the believe their own shit....we all knew B52 was scum but you have stooped to his depths to join him well done Kikapoooo.
Erdoğan spoke of the key phone call between the leaders of the estranged countries, noting that during the phone call he spoke to both leaders and the apology that occurred was “witnessed by President Obama.”

The press can print all they want now to change the word meanings of a non apology apology to sound more like an apology, probably at the request of Erdogan, but it doesn't change anything. Erdogan has already accepted the non apology apology and Israel is off the hook by giving an non apology apology. Erdogan so unhappy about accepting a non apology apology, he is trying to add some credibility to the non apology apology.
Obama is keeping quite!
CASE CLOSED!Erdoğan spoke of the key phone call between the leaders of the estranged countries, noting that during the phone call he spoke to both leaders and the apology that occurred was “witnessed by President Obama.”

Go away Kikapoooo.....you have really exceeded in showing us all how ignorant you are....I will not respond to your post on this thread any longer as you are obviously only trying to save face about how totally wrong you are..
Erdoğan outlined the details of his phone conversations with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and U.S. President Barack Obama that brought about the long-expected Israeli apology to Turkey over the killings of nine Turkish citizens on the board of the Mavi Marmara vessel carrying humanitarian aid to Gaza. Erdoğan said his conversation with Netanyahu took place under the witness of Obama but he wanted first to talk with the US President as he missed his voice.
“I talked to him and we have reviewed the text and confirmed the (apology) process. we have therefore accomplished this process under Obama’s witness,” Erdoğan said, adding this phone conversation has also been recorded alongside with written statements issued from all three sides. “We have made the process safe.”
President Abdullah Gül did also make a statement on Israeli apology during his joint press conference with visiting Cameron President Paul Biya yesterday, depicting rather a more cautious stance. “Israel did what it had to do. Therefore I express my contentment of it,” he said but he also added: “The issue is still very fresh, let’s all wait. This is just a first step.”

Turkey and Israel will be soon discussing what compensation should be paid to the 9 Turks killed on the Mavi Marmara. How much is the life of a Turk worth? Well, I don't know, but Kurds as Turkish citizens, Erdogan had offered 125,000 TL ( $70,000 USD ) to each of the 35 Kurd killed by Turkish Jets in Uludere, even without an apology to the families from Erdogan for those killed by his own and the victims government. So I guess a life of a Turkish citizen is only worth $70,000 USD according to Erdogan. So, basically, Israel will be justified to offer the same amount since Erdogan had already established how much money is the worth of a Turkish Citizen. However, I think Israel will offer more, say about $100,000 USD instead, just to embarrass Erdogan, that the lives of Turkish Citizens are worth more to Israel than to Erdogan. I can't imagine Erdogan will say no to even if Israel offered to pay only $70,000 USD, because they will be very quick to say that that's what Erdogan had offeere to the Kurds.
Erdogan has really boxed himself in with the amount of compensation that should be paid to the families of those killed by Israel. Perhaps Israel will offer more money to the American/Turkish citizen. Much more. Had Erdogan accepted Israel's regret for the killings and compensation initially before the Uludere incident and before setting the value of a Turkish citizen's life at $70,000 USD, they may have gotten millions, just like the victims of the Pan Am bombing over Lockerbie by Libya where the families were given $10 Million USD per victim after years of delay. But now, $70,000 USD is what Erdogan believes is what a Turkish citizen's life is worth.

Turkey and Israel are at odds over compensation for the families of people killed during a 2010 raid on the Gaza-bound ship the Mavi Marmara, Israeli news portal Ynetnews claimed on Wednesday.
According to Ynetnews, a joint committee will discuss the compensation issue soon as Turkey demands that Israel pay $1 million to each family of all of the nine victims and Israel is willing to pay only $100,000. Furthermore, Israel reportedly suggested paying the same amount paid by the Turkish army to the families of its fallen soldiers, TL 125,000, or around $70,000.
