Turkey offers 5.8 Billion Euros to buy off the GCs.

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

I thought Turkey was doing a deal with Egypt because Turkey owned the world and its "EEZ" extended to the other end of the Earth.

What happened?

Was that all gas? And now it's offering money? (which it does NOT have btw)

The money is for recognition of the TRNC not the gas fields it will take those when you start producing until then they are useless.

It's offering money to a country it does not recognize (RoC) for it to recognize a "country" that not a single other country in the world recognises? :?

Hmmm ...

I don't know how bad your Turkish is (must be really bad), but the article does not state anything about Turkey offering anything for the RoC to recognise the north. It's only an opinion by some nobody on what Turkey should do. That article and it's source has as much value as the paper it was written on which = ZERO.

Next link please!

No smoke without fire, even if it were speculation it is an opportunity worth considering or even offering themselves as the GCs could then kill 2 birds with one stone, a stone they will never be able to utilize anyway.

Do you remember the offer from Turkish ministers to help with the Gc crisis? so not really all hot air must be a fire somewhere for the smoke to show.

You mean that clown, Bagis.

He'll say anything to get some headlines, no matter how foolish they may be.

What's that got to do with your thread title?
