I would never go as far as to say Europe is as corrupt as Russia but it is true that there are members of the Eurozone who are corrupt. Why do you think that the EU's finances have not been given cleared audits for each of the last sixteen years? Too many Eurozone countries with too much to hide!

David welcome darlimg. I cannot stay long on line as I am relaxing in Gambia, But please ignore us hysterical greek people.
one week ago we all loved europe. They were going to save us with battleships. Especially Greeky girl. (She is not girl but fat woman with gland problem living in council flat in totenham - i think in england you say Chav.) Now they want russian. No one gives you anything for nothing my darling in life. The history in cyprus is of mistake after mistake and here we go again.

All 27 countries are corrupt because they do not work together and one country has always the upper hand (Germany) so they are not equal partners. This corrupt union does not belong to Germany, so why for example UK or Spain can not enforce its own rules and always has to be Germany . Even USA has strongly criticies this uneconomical practice to tax deposit to rescue a country. Such practice which is not commomn in economics has adopted only in Europe and nowhere else on this planet and all 27 partners has done nothing to stop it.

The UK has done nothing physically to stop it because we are not members of the Euro and therefore have no say in what they are doing to Cyprus. Today I watched our Parliament live on TV and you should have heard what the Prime Minister and others had to say in support of Cyprus. Even B25, GirlinGreece and other doubters on here would have felt just a little humbled!

And just for the record once again, no one is saying teaming up with the Russians is the preferred option, but when we have just been shafted by what we thought was a Union, a solidarity then it's time to look elsewhere, no?

1) Apologies for Fubaring an earlier quote .

The UK was not however privy to the Yankee plans for the coup and did not bring the Turks to the shores of Cyprus. I think you will find Ecevit only approached the UK about using the SBA after the Coup was underway, when he was turned down and where the UK was working to get Big Mak back in power and to try to prevent the Turkish invasion, but it was the Yanks and the Greek Junta with the active assistance of the Cypriot coupists who gave the Tur*s the excuse / opportunity to invade. The Coup was only possible with the active connivance of traitors to the ROC.

2) If I did not think that most of the Russian I have met were not nice people I would have said nothing.

I have a friend in UK who is an economist with a Phd in economics and teaching economics and he was shocked to hear a tax on deposits . He could not explain it. This was an attack for other political reasons. To attract funds into their own weak economies.

Mikito.

My apologies for spelling your name wrongly in my previous post! I can well understand his amazement because if that happened in the UK you would be arrested for theft and fraud. All led by Germany and my guess would be that the Germans, Dutch, EMU & IMF would be very happy to see both Cyprus and Greece. Out of the Euro. After that will be Spain, Portugal, Ireland and even possibly Italy. After that the Northern Euro member countries will prosper at the expense of all others. I hope we leave this god damned club!
